I would like to wish you all the best for International Student’s Day!
The silent, empty halls of our university undoubtedly speak volumes about the unity, responsibility and sincere work that we are all doing, even though we are separated from each other. I would like to thank every one of you for that!
You are special. You are the ones who will be entrusted with taking care of the most important thing in the future: human health. Our understanding of responsibility is especially emphasised by the current situation in Lithuania and around the world. Thank you for maintaining the spirit of studying, preserving your loyalty to academic values, building a strong bond with each other and the community, and protecting yourself and your loved ones despite all the difficulties. It is not easy, but together we will do our best to make studies, research, and social activities continue as smoothly as possible.
I wish for you not to lose your motivation in the future. Let the freedom of critical thinking and self-expression fostered by the Faculty of Medicine encourage you to diligently pursue the successful realisation of your professional and personal dreams. I wish you excellent health and creative optimism! Let’s protect ourselves and those around us, because only together are we strong!
