On 14 February 2023, a meeting of the Faculty Council took place in the Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine Great Auditorium, where members of the faculty received certificates denoting their academic title. Certificates were given to eighteen participants: eleven received certificates of professor and seven received certificates of associate professor. The titles of professor and associate professor are granted to individuals according to the procedure in force at Vilnius University.
Prof. Dalius Jatužis, the dean of the faculty and presenter of the certificates, expressed his joy on this notable occasion and warmly congratulated the academics who received the certificates. The dean himself was presented with a certificate of professorship and congratulated by the Chairman of the Council, Prof. Eugenijus Lesinskas.

This day was a beautiful celebration, with copious amounts of happiness and warm regards from colleagues to Faculty members who received the certificates of academic title. We are pleased with the achievements of our hardworking and dedicated academics and congratulate them on this very special occasion!
