The first session of the newly elected Vilnius University Work Council was dedicated to the election of a new chairman. Professor Arūnas Valiulis, who works at the Clinic of Children’s Diseases of Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine, was elected for the period of 2023–2026. Vytenė Jaunkauskienė, an employee from Vilnius University Central Administration was elected his secretary. During the preceding term of the Vilnius University Work Council, there were no representatives from the Faculty of Medicine.
