Psychological Consultations
Psychological consultations are available at the Faculty of Medicine of Vilnius University. Students, residents, and co-workers can receive professional psychological assistance whenever they are having problems related to work, studies, or interpersonal relationships; taking important life decisions; or experiencing extreme feelings of loneliness, anxiety, or sadness. If you think a consultation with a specialist would benefit you, read on. This initiative was taken with support and help from the Faculty of Philosophy of Vilnius University.
Consultations are held in person. The duration of a session is 45–50 minutes. The prices for the services can be found here.
Consultations are held in Room 303 of the Faculty of Medicine of Vilnius University (M. K. Čiurlionio g. 21). The room is located in the Department of Pathology and Forensic Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine of Vilnius University, which is in the Faculty of Medicine courtyard and is somewhat removed from the main areas of activity of the Faculty.
At the moment there is a waiting queue for services. For that reason, we kindly invite anyone who would like to register for an individual consultation to write an email to and include your telephone number. As soon as there is a time available for a consultation, our specialist will contact you.
VU Counseling and Training Centre
The VU Counseling and Training Centre provides urgent free of charge psychological help for students and employees if:
- You are going through a psychological crisis – a tough period, such as losing a loved one, a traumatic experience, etc.
- You have thoughts about suicide or harming yourself.
- You have had severe psychological conditions, such as depression, psychotic episodes, etc., and you feel it may happen again shortly.
Don't be alone and ask for help; we will try to find solutions together.
