At a conference held at the end of May 2022, a new team was elected for the Vilnius University Student Representation at the Faculty of Medicine. For the first time in the history of the Faculty, a foreign student, Damian Luka Mialkowski, was elected chairman of the representation. After long debates and question periods, Damian won the election by a landslide. He will succeed Emilija Narušytė as chairman.
During the event, a new chairperson was also elected for the Vilnius University International Student Representation at the Faculty of Medicine (VU MF ISR). The new chairwoman is Kimberley Logbochi Olivia Mvetimbo Tambo; she was elected almost unanimously. She will replace Julia Koehnke as chair.
We would like to remind you that Julia was the first chairperson of the Vilnius University International Student Representation at the Faculty of Medicine, and during her term of office she brought many changes and significantly contributed to the better integration of international students. There is no doubt that the work she started will continue in the future.
