With the start of the 2022 / 2023 academic year, please be informed about the availability of the Medicine and Geosciences Reading Room, located at 21/27 M. K. Čiurlionio Street, opening hours and services.

IMPORTANT:  the reading room can only be used and books borrowed from the Library if you have a Lithuanian Student Identity Card LSIC. An International Students Card (ISIC) is not valid.

Access to the Reading Room after 8 pm only available with Lithuanian Student Identity Card or Employee Card.

Librarians working in the Reading  Room are available on weekdays from 9 am to 8 pm and on Saturdays from 9 am to 3 pm.

Services

Medicine and Geosciences reading room is dedicated to individual student work: it has 68 workplaces, including 10 workplaces with computer access. Library stacks contain around 20 thousand pieces of books and journals.

Subject librarians can be consulted if you have issues regarding information search. In Faculty of Medicine, please refer to Povilas Višinskas, in Faculty of Chemistry and Geosciences to Eglė Jočienė. You can also book a time for information literacy course.
