Associate Professor Vosyliūtė maintains that her aim as head of the Education and Partnership Unit is ‘to inspire the faculty’s community to improve continuously’. This active, energetic researcher is full of new ideas and believes that ‘achievement of maximum professional benefit and success requires choosing your tools carefully’. ‘Professional development and collaboration are among the core guarantees of success at an educational organisation. This offers every opportunity for a continuously evolving professional, with the help of digital technologies, to achieve better results and to encourage the members of the educational community not only to teach, but also to learn,’ she said. According to her, critically assessing one’s own knowledge and performance and identifying the missing skills indicate directions for improvement. Collaboration allows for the sharing of ideas, experiences and resources that can be used for innovation: ‘Collaboration within an organisation helps build teams that can spearhead new research, projects and experiments. So, I wish for the members of the community to be open to collaboration, innovation and change.’
