Traditionally, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dalius Jatužis, invites the community of the Faculty of Medicine at Vilnius University, as well as medical professionals, to gather on February 16, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at the monument of Dr. Jonas Basanavičius (Rasos Cemetery) to commemorate the Day of the Restoration of the State of Lithuania.
Those gathered, along with the choir members of the VU Alumni and Vilnius University Hospital Santaros Clinics, will have the opportunity to sing the national anthem of Lithuania and listen to sacred choir performances. The Rector of Vilnius University Prof. Rimvydas Petrauskas will attend the meeting and give a speech.
