On June 11, 2025, the re-election of the Council of the Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine took place. In total, 182 voters (47.6%) participated, the elections were recognized as valid, and all 19 required Council members were elected. In addition to them, the Council includes the Dean and five representatives delegated by students.

The votes for the candidates on the first list were distributed as follows:

  • Algirdas UTKUS (Institute of Biomedical Sciences), 135 votes (74,2% of voters who participated)
  • Vytautas KASIULEVIČIUS (Institute of Clinical Medicine), 132 votes (72,5%)
  • Rimantas STUKAS (Institute of Health Sciences), 132 votes (72,5%)
  • Eugenijus GEFENAS (Institute of Health Sciences), 130 votes (71,4%)
  • Vilma BRUKIENĖ (Institute of Dentistry), 123 votes (67,6%)
  • Janina TUTKUVIENĖ (Institute of Biomedical Sciences), 123 votes (67,6 %)
  • Saulius DRUKTEINIS (Institute of Dentistry), 113 votes (62,1%)
  • Tomas POŠKUS (Transliational Health Research Institute), 111 votes (61,0%)
  • Robertas BADARAS (Institute of Clinical Medicine), 110 votes (60,4%)
  • Arvydas LAURINAVIČIUS (Transliational Health Research Institute), 98 votes (53,8%)
  • Eugenijus LESINSKAS (Institute of Clinical Medicine), 98 votes (53,8%)

  • Rūta VOSYLIŪTĖ (Institute of Biomedical Sciences), 100 votes (54,9%)
  • Augustinas BAUŠYS (Transliational Health Research Institute), 99 votes (54,4%)
  • Laura NEDZINSKIENĖ (Institute of Biomedical Sciences), 98 votes (53,8%)
  • Vaida TAMINSKIENĖ (Institute of Health Sciences), 87 votes (47,8%)

The votes for the other candidates on this list were distributed as follows:

  • Artūras SAMUILIS (Institute of Biomedical Sciences), 96 votes (52,7%, does not enter the Council because the Institute of Biomedical Sciences quota is already filled)
