On 11th of December, 2021 Students of the Faculty of Medicine of Vilnius University participated in the international conference of medical students “Surgery in Clinical Practice 2021” organized in cooperation with Riga Stradinis University. It was intended to discuss interesting clinical cases in the field of surgery.
At the conference, the 4th year 14th group students of VU Faculty of Medicine presented the case of a patient observed at the Santara clinics of Vilnius University Hospital about a rare complication of biliary pancreatitis - liver abscess.
Deimantė Šukevičiūtė on behalf of the group presented the clinical case at the conference. Presentation curators: Prof. Dr. Kęstutis Strupas and Dr. Aistė Kielaite-Gulla.
