Vilnius International Oncology Summer School (VIOSS) 2026

We are pleased to invite motivated young researchers and PhD students to participate in the Vilnius International Oncology Summer School (VIOSS) 2026, which will take place in Vilnius, Lithuania, on July 6–10, 2026.
The participation fee is 299 EUR. Participants are expected to cover their own travel expenses (flight tickets) and accommodation in Vilnius. All meals included in the official programme - daily lunches, coffee breaks, and social events - will be provided free of charge.
VIOSS is a unique programme that combines high-level academic lectures, clinical exposure, and networking opportunities within one intensive week. Participants will learn from international experts and leading researchers from institutions across Europe, while gaining valuable insight into modern oncology research and clinical practice.
A key feature that makes VIOSS unique is the opportunity to visit major biomedical and clinical centres, where cutting-edge research and patient care are closely integrated. The programme includes visits to leading oncology and life sciences institutions in Vilnius, including:
- the Hematology, Oncology and Transfusion Medicine Center;
- the Vilnius University Life Sciences Center;
- the Children’s Oncohematology and Oncosurgery Competence Center.
Beyond academic lectures, VIOSS aims to foster a collaborative international environment for early-career researchers. We strongly believe that bringing together young scientists from different countries encourages new ideas, interdisciplinary dialogue, and long-term collaboration.
