Vilnius University Researchers’ Academic Profile System

We would like to inform you that the Vilnius University Researchers’ Academic Profile System has been launched. The system is part of VU’s information ecosystem and is designed to present the activities of academic staff across the University in a standardised way. Researchers are requested to complete their profiles by 31 January 2027.

  • Why do you need a VU researcher academic profile?

Your researcher profile will make your activities more visible to academic partners, other interested parties and experts evaluating the University’s activities. Once you have completed your profile, you will also be able to download it as a PDF document, giving you an up-to-date summary of your academic activities with a single click.

  • Where can you find your personal researcher profile?

Go to mokslininkai.vu.lt, click My Profile and sign in through the Single Sign-On system. You can already review and edit your personal researcher profile.

Some researchers will find their profiles partially completed when they log in. To make the initial process easier, some information has been automatically transferred from other VU systems into each researcher’s profile. Automatically imported information may contain inaccuracies, so please review and correct the existing information.

In My Profile, you can review, correct and update the information displayed in your personal profile. Once you are satisfied that the information is accurate, you can publish your profile.

  • Who should complete and publish a researcher profile and by when?

The following Vilnius University staff members are asked to complete their researcher profiles by 31 January 2027: Research Professors; Senior Researchers; Researchers; Research Assistants; Professors; Associate Professors; Assistant Professors; Teaching Assistants; Senior Lecturers; Lecturers; Partnership Professors; Partnership Associate Professors; Doctoral Students; and Professors Emeriti.

Doctoral students with an employment contract at Vilnius University can access their profiles using VU SSO. Doctoral students without an employment contract are invited to create a separate account and complete their profiles.

  • Faculty of Medicine contact

As the academic profile system is new, please report any significant shortcomings or suggestions for improvement to Rima Daunoravičienė, a staff member of the Research and Innovation Department responsible for the profile system at the Faculty of Medicine: .
