A charity auction was held at the Faculty of Medicine at Vilnius University, during which staff members took the opportunity to buy pieces of art created from foil by the students of the day-care centre for people with disabilities Mažoji Guboja. The auction sold 11 works and raised €430.

The unique, unparalleled exhibition called Blizgės, presenting works from the students of Mažoji Guboja – artists dealing with mental disabilities, had been displayed in the faculty for several months. The exhibition featured artworks made out of foil, which were also finished using acrylic and gilding techniques, as well as a wide variety of objects made of foil in raised relief. With these creations, the students of Mažoji Guboja demonstrated that their imagination is limitless, self-expression is unique and individual, and creative possibilities have no limits.
