The keynote presentation was delivered by Professor Natalja Istomina from the VU Faculty of Medicine, who emphasized the role and competencies of advanced practice nurses in the modern healthcare system, aiming for more effective personal health care. Associate Professor Dr. Jurgita Kazlauskienė (Vilnius College) highlighted that “The training and competence development of nurses must be based on the latest discoveries in nursing and educational sciences. We need to understand how nurses from different generations learn and adapt to the healthcare environment—only then good results can be achieved.”

It is hoped that this event will contribute to the advancement of nursing science and will encourage new collaboration initiatives.
