Coming to a foreign country can be both exciting and challenging. That's why Vilnius University (VU) invites all first-year international students to participate in the Introduction Days #VUniverse. During these days, you can expect to meet Faculty coordinators, take guided tours of VU, and join various interesting activities that will help you connect with both Lithuanian and international students.

First-year students of bachelor's and integrated study programs and everyone who can are invited to participate in the opening events of the Academic Year.
We would like to remind you that the Faculty of Medicine is giving away a white robe decorated with the logo of the Faculty of Medicine to all first-year students of bachelor's and integrated study programs of the Faculty of Medicine of Vilnius University in 2025/2026. Information about picking up the robes can be found here.
The Introduction Days will begin at 9 a.m. on 27 August with a welcome event for all international students of Vilnius University at Compensa Concert Hall, Kernavės St. 84, Vilnius. For more details, see here.

Vilnius University Staff, Students, and Alumni Procession. Traditional procession of the Vilnius University students, professors, lecturers, and alumni starts from the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania and marches down Gediminas Street (the main street of Vilnius), heading towards the central building of Vilnius University. During the procession, all the students of the Faculty of Medicine are invited to wear the Faculty’s symbol—a white gown. |

Informational Session for International Students of Faculty of Medicine. Join us for an informational session to help you integrate into Vilnius University smoothly. This session is a great chance to get your questions answered and meet other international students. |
| 16:30–20.30 | Orienteering "How to (not) get lost in Vilnius?" and Cultural Evening. Orientation games around the central part of Vilnius and the Faculty of Medicine will be organized by the Student Representation of the Faculty of Medicine of Vilnius University. Various tasks and puzzles will lead the freshmen of Lithuanian and English-held programs to the most popular and essential places to know. During the cultural evening, foreign and Lithuanian students will present the traditions of their countries, and the event will be enriched by cold beet shots, folk dance lessons, music, and food, bringing together the entire University community for the start of the new academic year.

| 18:00–19:00 | Open Group Training. Event for all freshmen of Vilnius University. We invite you to register for an outdoor workout! The workout will consist of two parts. We will dance ZUMBA and do various functional exercises that will train the whole body muscles and strengthen the cardiovascular system.
